Comprehensive Educational

Evaluations

A comprehensive educational evaluation helps families and educators understand a child's academic strengths and areas of need to guide effective instruction and support future learning.

I. Initial Consultation

We begin by learning about your child's educational history, current concerns, strengths, and goals. This conversation helps us determine the most appropriate evaluation plan for your child's needs.

Our Evaluation Process

2. Comprehensive Assessment

We administer assessments to evaluate reading, writing, mathematics, and other areas of concern. Each evaluation is individualized to provide an accurate understanding of your child's academic strengths and needs.

3. Data Analysis

We carefully analyze the assessment results to identify your child's academic strengths, areas of need, and learning patterns. This information guides meaningful, individualized recommendations for instruction.

4. Parent Conference & Recommendations

We review the evaluation results with you, explain the findings in clear, parent-friendly language, and provide recommendations to support your child's continued academic growth.

Areas We Evaluate

Every evaluation is individualized. Assessment selection is based on the student's age, educational history, current performance, and specific areas of concern.

Reading

We assess foundational reading skills, including phonological awareness, decoding, word recognition, reading fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and spelling to identify academic strengths and areas of need.

Writing

Writing assessments may examine written expression, sentence construction, grammar, and written organization to better understand a student's written communication skills.

Mathematics

Mathematics assessments evaluate computation, mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and overall math achievement to identify instructional priorities.
